"It allowed me to create a new space in my day to fill with new practices and behaviours.
– Tiffany Semon
"The challenge inspired me to push myself in new ways and reframe how I started my days. It allowed me to create a new space in my day to fill with new practices and behaviours. It would be misleading to suggest it was easy to go to bed and wake up at vastly different hours then I considered normal, but it challenged me to adjust the habits I deemed "normal" and allowed me to redefine things in my own life.
This could be the most beneficial take away from the process – challenging myself to question the conversations that I have normalized in my day to day life. After all, we are what we think and what we tell ourselves becomes our truth, and if we don't shake those internal dialogues up every once in while we miss opportunities to expand ourselves."
"Damn Early Days allowed me to start doing all the things that I kept putting off. It gave me the time in morning when I am the most creative and sharpest to start smashing out my podcast. Most importantly, it taught me a nightly ritual of how to shut down because waking up at 4:30am requires focus. I am so thankful I did Damn Early Days and that's why I'm coming back again."
– Filip Sierpinski
"I found out that this is more than just waking up early. It's about setting up your mind, body, and soul for success."
– Troy Temple
"This experience can change lives. I was already an early riser, so when I first heard of this challenge I saw it as a fun way to continue waking up early. But as I went through day after damn early day, I found out that this is more than just waking up early. It's about truly getting an early start to the day. It's about setting up your mind, body, and soul for success.
It's about accomplishing something that day before the sun even rises. Looking back, I may not always wake up as early as I did during Damn Early Days, but I still make a point of getting something accomplished early in the day. In short, this challenge has made me a more productive and accomplished person."
"It wasn't easy, but what I gained from it far outweighed any struggle it took. Everything I wanted was on the other side of making the time to get it."
– Gordon Swenson
"Invest the extra time for whatever you're lacking in your current routine, and you will be shocked at what you can uncover about yourself."
– Chelsea Bell
"I was suffering from some pretty bad depression and then I got into a major car accident during this whole experience. Not only did the additional support from the community help me in small and big ways, but it was a reminder that with discipline and consistency - you can do just about damn near anything.
Invest the extra time for whatever you're lacking in your current routine, and you will be shocked at what you can uncover about yourself."
"It was hard, but there was something so amazing about watching the sun come up for three weeks. Good enough to sucker me in for a second time."
– Kim Budziak
"I took to heart your email last week asking us to "check off" a goal within the next 11 days and today I did it. After 8 years of practice, I have finally committed my mind and body to yoga teacher training. Hell yeah!"
