WHAT IS 21 DAMN EARLY DAYS?
21 Damn Early Days is a program designed to help you get after the things you want in life. We all know what we want to do (even if what we want to do is figuring out what we want to do), but most of us don't have the time to get after it.
Monday to Friday, for 21 days, you'll get between 4:30AM and 5:30AM with 100s of others and commit to focusing on the stuff that matters the most to you.
Think of this as a self-experiment to see what life could be like.
What do I do for the 21 days?
Ultimately, that is up to you. Some people immediately know and others don't. Part of the program is figuring out how you want to spend it and how to track whether you are doing it effectively.
You focus on all the things you want to do that you never get time to. Write, fitness, yoga, mediate, think, start that project/business or simply do nothing but slow your life down.
We'll help you figure that out and build a morning routine that gets you firing.
What's the one thing I should know about your program?
That this isn't about getting up early – it's about learning to create the space to focus on what matters.
This isn't school – no one is getting "marked" on the number of check-ins they get. They are there to help you stay on track, nudge you when you stumble, and ultimately get you closer to everything you want in life.
This about progress, not perfection.
Can i Choose my wake-up time?
While we highly encourage 4:30AM, you can choose your wake-up time to be either 4:30AM, 5:00AM, or 5:30AM.
Am I doing this alone?
Yes and no. While waking up and getting out of bed is a uniquely individual experience (unless you're doing this with a partner), you'll have a ton of support, insight, and accountability from a community of hundreds around you.
Why not just do this on my own?
21 Damn Early Days provides accountability, education about tried and proven ways to be effective, and support from a community doing it with you.
How do you know if I get up?
We send a text every morning at your check-in time to make sure you're getting after it. You'll be required to check-in each morning.
Yep, that's real world accountability.
Why 21 Days?
While the science of forming a habit in 21 days isn't clear, 21 days does give you a serious run at understanding what early mornings are like and what it feels like to have free time to focus on what matters. 21 days is enough time to get over the initial struggles, find your stride, and get a feel for what early mornings afford.

Ask yourself what matters more: getting after those things you have always wanted to do or sleeping in every day?
We'll leave the choice up to you.
What About My Social Life?
On average we need 7 to 8 hours sleep, so you can expect to set a 8:30PM to 9:30PM bed time. This might hinder your social life a bit in the evening, but when you're getting up at 4:30AM, you end up more efficient and get more done, earlier in the day. Usually, by getting up at 4:30AM and getting after it, we end up with more free time than we normally have.
How much does it cost?
Staying true to the Chasing Sunrise principles, we want to bring this to as many people as possible, which is why we've opted for a Donate What You Want model. We ask that those that can afford to, help make sure we can continue delivering 21 Damn Early Days to as many people as possible. There is a suggested minimum donation of $21 USD. This helps make sure you're committed to the program. But we know everyone has different life situations, and we want to keep this program accessible. We encouraged to pay whatever amount is right for you.
If you don't have a credit card and want to participate, shoot us a message and we can on-board a different way. If $21 USD is not in your budget right now but you are keen to join us, get in touch with us and we will work with you to find an option that better fits you. We want to help remove barriers so that you can achieve your DED goals.
WHY IS THERE A MINIMUM DONATION?
We've set up a minimum $21 USD donation so that you have skin in the game. On-boarding and developping this program takes a lot of work on our end, so we want people who are serious about this.
Why don't you include weekends?
You are more than welcome to keep the 4:30AM up throughout the weekends, but we don't include them in the 21 days as it makes for an easier adjustment into early mornings.
Once you're in, we'll give you some ideas about how best to set up your weekend to keep the following Monday going smooth.
What happens after the 21 days?
If you want to keep it going, we'll provide the space to do so. If you just want to treat this as a 21 day experiment and never do it again, at least you can say you gave it a run. That's more than most people.
What happens if I miss a day?
Life isn't about perfection, it's about resilience and striving for consistency. Missed days happen, so don't sweat it. Get back on the horse and keep going.
What if there are days I can't do (ie. I Know I have a late night)
Life happens and we account for this. Adjust your schedule a little bit and get back to Damn Early Days the morning after. We'll have more info on how to do this once you're signed up.
