Rituals – this is about more than just “routines”.
Being a part of DED is about all of us pursuing real change in our lives, and moving towards becoming that person we know – deep inside – we're capable of being.
One of the most effective ways to do that is by executing on the boring stuff day in, day out.
And one of the most powerful ways to do that is to turn those elements in rituals.
Rituals are those spaces that are more than a to-do list. They are the few spaces you create for yourself that are rooted in both your passions and your "why".
And that's why, when you do them right, they’ve got the pull and power to take you to another level:
They give us a level of depth, familiarity, and consistency that let's us go deeper and get more out of ourselves.
They are what allow us to continually get back to that place that inspires us, keeps us on track, and moves up closer to what we want. They are what ensure we are able to create the space we need and give us something to go back to again and again.

Why This Matters.
Being a part of DED is about all of us pursuing real change in our lives, and moving towards becoming that person we know, deep inside, we're capable of being.
As the youngest woman to row across the Atlantic, Tori Holmes understands the struggles of the pursuit and the power of ritual and focus to get what we want.
Tomorrow morning, she will lead us through a conversation on the power of rituals and tradition within our modern landscape and open up space for us to get to know how to use their power to get us closer to what we want.
Who is Tori Holmes?
Tori Holmes is the kind of woman you would call up to talk business over a power lunch, and then suddenly find yourself entranced by the most incredible story of adventure you’ll hear in your lifetime. She is an authentic blend of wit, intelligence and unfathomable courage (and did we mention, absolutely beautiful). At 21 years old, Tori became the youngest woman at the time to row across the Atlantic Ocean in a 24ft ocean rowing boat. As Tori told us, “ to put it in context, more people attempt to climb Mount Everest in a single day, than ever make is across the Atlantic”...
Today, Tori is the successful founder of Nectar Juicery and one of the raddest humans we've come to know.
What's an Adaptogenic Latte?
Adaptogens are a unique group of herbal ingredients used to improve the health of your adrenal system, the system that’s in charge of managing your body’s hormonal response to stress. They help strengthen the body’s response to stress and enhance its ability to cope with anxiety and fight fatigue – slowly and gently, without jolts or crashes. They’re called adaptogens because of their unique ability to “adapt” their function according to your body’s specific needs. Though the effects may initially be subtle and take time to make themselves felt, they’re real and undeniable.
