You Know You Have It When You Can Give It Away

We've been getting after life and making some serious positive change: in mindset, in personal discipline, in energy levels and in overall outlook on what's possible in life.

Focusing on ourselves is key, but part of the reason we do that is so that we can have even more to give back to the world and the people around us. That's when you know you have it. That's also when it starts to coming back to you from all different angles.

This weekend, grab someone you care about. They might be crew, they might be family, they might just be someone you know could use it.

Take them out for an adventure or an experience: it doesn't have to be extravagant or cost a penny - just something that wakes them up a little, shows them how badass and beautiful life can be if we look for it, and reminds them that there is so much more on the other side waiting for us, if we're just willing to chase after it a little.

(I'm taking my mom for a sunrise hike and mountain breakfast tomorrow morning. During an early morning meditation I remembered that with CS, we're trying to have a genuinely positive impact on as many people as possible, but what about the people closest to us? I'm stoked - and she can't even handle it. Haha.)

Stoked to hear about your adventures.

PS If you're stuck for ideas and want to bring someone (or a few people) along to come hang with us in Vancouver - we are going to go summit chasing and river floating on Sunday.
