What If Today Was Your Last?

Something Is Tying Us Together:

We're all different races, and we live in all different timezones around the world.

But there's something else that's the same, through all of us.
Every. Single. One.

We know deep down that we have more inside of us to bring into the world, and we're willing to chase that.

Do whatever it takes to bring the best you can into the world. And have a hell of a time while you're here. Lift others up while going all-in on yourself.

This one chance we've got...

"Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life."

- Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs looked in the mirror every morning and asked himself the same question:

"If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "No" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something."

Some might say it's morbid. We'd rather look at as a way to stay awake and alive in a world that is happy to have us asleep at the switch.

"No one wants to die. Even people who want to go to heaven don’t want to die to get there. And yet death is the destination we all share. No one has ever escaped it..

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.

And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.

Everything else is secondary."

Assignment: Treat today like it like it was your last. ANd live it like it was your first.

And it doesn't have to be anything crazy. Go in with fresh eyes, an open heart, and a belly full of fire.

That coffee you're about to have: savor all of it.
The friend you usually high five: throw them a hug.
That idea you have at work or around your friends: speak-up and share it.
That person who's done a lot for you: tell them how much you appreciate everything.
That person being mistreated: stand up for them.
That feeling in your gut, your intuition: take a risk and act on it.
That grudge you're silently holding: maybe let that go and forgive them.

If you can keep this in mind day by day, listening to your intuition and leaving it all on the table, it won't matter when your time comes.

Press play, take a few min., let it sink in, and live the hell out of this day.
